Underappreciated and underpaid

The work environment was extremely toxic. In my opinion, and many other employees opinion as well, unless you were management or close with the owners you were nobody but a worker there. It also seemed that management and employees who had been there a long time were able to get away with less work, bullying and just general rude behavior. Yes, the facility is great and the dogs are taken care of but as an employee I felt extremely underappreciated, over worked for hardly any compensation and often mistreated by management in every department. I also felt the owners and managers were all very close, this they could get away with not working and the mistreatment. I also feel the owners like to manage from afar without really knowing what's happening. Over all, I was shocked multiple times with how I was spoken to by my team. There were multiple instances where I had to stop and ask myself "Did they really just say that to me?" Even tho many managers were over 25 it seemed like a high school environment with a lot of favoritism.
Toxic management, favoritism, bullying
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - In just a few short weeks, the kids will soon be out of school, and perhaps you'll be packing the suitcases for a family vacation. Unfortunately, taking along the family pet is not always an option. And finding a good place for them can be a challenge.
Recently, a new 15,000-square foot resort that includes an indoor pool for dogs opened on Murphy Lane in Louisville. The Pet Station Country Club offers boarding, training and daycare options.
Scott Burnley, co-owner and certified canine trainer and behavior specialist, opened the doors in March. He says he traveled to pet shows and met with companies to look at cutting-edge technology that was used in larger settings.
Here are my five questions with Scott Burnley of The Pet Station Country Club.
1) How is it different from other Pet Resorts and Boarding / Training / Grooming facilities?
We have a 4,000-square foot indoor dog park complete with a custom-engineered obstacle course. The park is temperature-controlled year-round and laid with K9Grass, which is specially-designed for canine comfort, and harnesses anti-microbial protection technology. When the weather is good, dogs can move between the indoor park and outdoor yards at their leisure.
We can board and train, and that allows us to really mold behavior in a positive manner. We have some of the finest, best-educated trainers in the country working here. I'm particularly proud of our daycation program which is a growing part of our business, especially for busy owners.
Also, Pet Station Country Club's Premium Suites are equipped with features like luxurious memory foam beds, and Petchatz, a premium two-way interactive treat camera that allows owners and pets to connect when apart via mobile devices or computer.
2) I see it has a mineral pool …what does that provide for dogs?
Swimming is especially beneficial to older dogs or those recovering from surgeries that cannot exercise without aches and pains. The pool is also great way to also introduce dogs to water. The pool's sloped entrance recreates natural water environments. A lot of dogs really enjoy it. Owners do too. We have an open swim beginning at 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. that's really gaining in popularity. It's $20.00 and we also host dog birthday parties.
The Mineral packs allow us to use less chlorine. That's easier for the dogs' skin. Dogs also tend to drink water, so it's safer with less chlorine count.
3) Was it hard to find the right space for your Country Club?
The property kind of found us. One of our owners lives directly next door and it became available. It was natural choice for a world-class facility. A flat, 6 acres of excellent ground for pooches to enjoy. The space is incredible.
4) What are the prices?
We begin at $37 a night for small dogs. Daycation is $25.00 for a full day. We also have a number of extras like organic treats and fro-yo for dogs to spoil them.
5) Do you take dogs that need medication?
Yes, we do. We have a pet portal where we take your pet's vaccination and health history. We go over all special requirements with the client. That's exactly the type of service we want to provide. We will give insulin injections, a service many other resorts don't offer. If there's an emergency while our clients are away, we work to take your dog to your preferred vet whenever possible. We have great relationships with vets across town.

As a crazy cat mom I was terrified to leave my senior cat in boarding.
The Pet Station staff was so friendly that my fears were put at ease.
Their kitty kennels are a great size, and I received a picture email every day while Batman played on the cat tree.
This is definitely a luxury pet resort that I will recommend and use again if needed.
I love everything about this place!!! The staff is amazing! Getting pictures of my little man while I was gone was such a special touch! It was nice knowing that he was happy and having fun while I was away!! Thank you all so very much for taking such good care of him!! He will definitely be staying here again in the future!
We just had our dog groomed at the Pet Station Country Club for the first time. We are very pleased with our experience. The staff was very friendly, the place is nice and clean, and Brittany did a fabulous job grooming our wheaton terrier. We will definitely be returning.
Moose loves the pool! Staff is always nice and very helpful. We know our dog is safe and well cared for when we travel. Thanks!
Our Maltipoo loves the luxury lounge. Daily pictures are so fun to see. We leave her and never worry one bit about her. The staff is so welcoming and warm. We also use their grooming service which is the best we’ve ever been to.
I am so happy to have found the Pet Station Country Club! I used to hate having to board my Chopin but the facility is amazing and the staff is so incredible that I feel like I can finally go and enjoy a vacation knowing he is having just as much fun, if not more! Thank you so much Pet Station Country Club! You are exactly what I’ve been searching for!!!
Our dog Marvel has so much fun every time she goes to daycare! Seeing the daily recap photos and video of her interacting and playing with other dogs is the highlight of my day. We have also boarded her with Pet Station had an excellent experience. I can not recommend this place enough. Friendly staff and great facility.
My pup and I love being members of the Pet Station Country Club! Caesar has been a part of their training program for the past few months. Very quickly did it seem like I had a whole new dog. Everyone at this center is nuts about animals, and it shows! Highly recommend them to anyone for any service needed.
Excellently run. Very clean! Very caring. Took care to do everything we asked and needed. We’ve used several boarding places around town over the years and this one is by far the best.
The entire staff at The Pet Station Country Club were nothing but fantastic. They were attentive, courteous and very accommodating. Sarah was wonderful with my two princesses and left me with the feeling that my girls were being well taken care of during their grooming visit. First time customer that will definitely be going back. Thank you all.
As an retired educator, I was impressed with the information that I received regarding Barkley’s evaluation for his participation in Daycation. In a few short hours the staff knew the social temperament of my dog. They took the time to go over the evaluation with my husband and I and offered suggestions to ease him into becoming more comfortable with social playtime. We have a plan for weekly Daycation in the Luxury Lounge (a comfortable, living room like setting with beds, couches, pillows and toys with a staff person there to interact, encourage and monitor play and rest time. I highly recommend this first class home away from home!
Best place in town, for boarding, grooming and training. My German shepherd dog, Val, and I are currently enrolled in the Levels training program, probably more for my benefit on how to train and handle this wonderful companion. Although she and our beagle, Josh, had completed the two week board and train with Scott when we first got Val, we believe in continuing to improve. We are excited and hopeful to achieve the level of certified canine good citizen. The site is always clean and staffed with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Love it
This was the first time for our medically high maintenance puppies to stay here at TPSCC. It was very nice to get a tour of facility prior to boarding. It was very clean & organized. I love that there is a lot of communication between the Pet Station & puppy parents. Definitely helps to feel less anxious about leavings them over night. Everyone was very pleasant & helpful. Our puppies were absolutely exhausted after their weekend at the CC.
My boyfriend and I just moved here from Florida and have been searching for the perfect place to board our fur babies when we go out of town. I’m so glad we found this place. Our dogs had their first visit over the weekend and I was impressed by all of the accommodations they offered, the animal-loving staff, beautiful facility, and the fact that they even sent picture updates via email every morning. I highly recommend this place!
I am completely amazed and blown away by how great of a job Carole Arnett did in training our fur baby! At first we were unsure of leaving our baby with someone else for three weeks without us around. After a very detailed and thorough consultation with Carole, we decided to do the 3 week board and train. It was perfect timing as we were in the process of packing, moving, & selling our house. I am soooo glad we decided to do it!!!! Levy, our pup, is a completely different dog! She is happier, calmer, and more content. Our dog walks are so much easier, safer, and more relaxing. Our pup comes to us on call even around big distractions which is a big relief for us as she used to charge off with traffic around. AND she now goes to her placemat on call and loves it too! This is so important for times when we need her to calm down or if we are having visitors etc. I used to think that dogs do not always need training. Now I think every dog deserves to be trained. It’s way harder for the dog and the owner to not be trained. It can also be very costly if your pet is not trained (accidents, biting other dogs or people, lawsuits etc.). And if a dog owner doesn’t know how to train then see Carole! You and your dog’s quality of life depends on it and You will not be disappointed!

Fire it. - And even so. - she unbuttoned her blouse, and ran her finger along the edge of her bra. - What do you say to Dima. - You know, Lena, I've seen women, so you won't take me for such a cheap price.

It was not getting so funny anymore. However, alcohol and a sense of my own sexuality kept me from stopping. I went up to Sergei, who was sitting on the couch. Slowly unbuttoned his trousers.Pet Station Country Club
But Vika continued to wriggle under him, then Rich, in addition, grabbed her with his paws. Vika finally let go and Rich again resting on his front paws, busily continue to hammer her. Vika, relaxed and happy, lay under him and simply enjoyed the aftertaste under his thrusts.

Either I was scared that I saw her, or I ran to laugh. Well, to hell with her, - I thought. Let it laugh, for sure I haven't seen a normal dick in my life. I reached for a bottle of beer and took a few sips. Then I lay down again and imagined how my sister, impressed by what she saw, is now sitting in the bedroom.
