For those users who ended up buying from them, mind giving some reviews? I found some really old threads with some users who purchased some parts and wanted to know how they're holding up. I just replaced my LCAs with ACDelco, but will be changing my UCAs with 1AAuto ones since they were <$80 for the pair.

I purchased their lower control arm for my 4th gen. Shipping was super fast, and the part was pretty beefy! The price is very good, and so far I have about 5, miles on the new part with zero issues.

As for now, I would recommend them for sure. I don't see why it wouldn't, but I hope it lasts!

I just rebuilt the whole front end of my 05 with 1A stuff (CAs, TREs, end bar links). Everything fit right and felt sturdy and matched the OEM (as far as looks). I had more issues out of my KYB struts than the 1A parts

I just received my UCAs from them and I would not be able to tell the difference between these and another aftermarket company. I searched other forums and saw that their CS is actually active on a few; they even said they use the same distributor as some other companies which I find plausible. I'm just surprised that their parts are basically half the price of others. Time will tell if these are equivalent to them though.

I just received my LCAs from HexAutoParts.com for attractive price. Shipping was super fast which come from CA, and the parts are good. As for now, I would not be able to tell the difference between it and 1A Auto Parts. As for me, best price is the most important.

Post1A auto - door activators

I bought a couple of door lock activators (might be called something different, I can't recall)

The front door driver side was very affordable, it's been in almost a year, still OK.

Later I tried the back door driver side, and I found that there is a small door you have to open to insert one of the cable ends, and that door has very brittle hinges, so it broke but they sent me a new one & it was pretty fragile too, but I was more careful & used some duct tape, and got it installed (summer/fall?) and still working.

My experience, fwiw.

I ordered new LCA with ball joints from then and they worked great. Ive also ordered new heated mirrors from them too and have had them on for over a year with no issues. the LCA's have been on for about 12k and no issues. Looked very similar to OEM.

Thanks for all the feedback, everyone seems to be fine with them so far, but no one with a ton of mileage on them yet. I finished installing mine and will find this thread later on if they end up failing too quickly.

My experience with them was ordering window regulators and a door lock actuator for the '04 jeep WJ that I used to own. I can say with complete truthfulness that the parts I got were the crappiest low quality junk I had ever seen, they were multiple levels below any junk that vato-zone sells.

Did they end up failing? If so, did you contact them? They claim to have a lifetime warranty on some parts, like the
UCAs I ordered (another reason why I bought it from them), but they have different warranty periods for different parts I'm assuming, lowest being a year.

Honestly, I never even bothered to install them, I just called and got a return authorization and sent the junk back to them. The parts just looked that cheap in quality to me, it wasn't worth the effort to give them a try. I did get a full refund of the purchase price, I had to absorb the return shipping costs.

I also bought my lower control arms from them, good price, fast shipping and SOLID arms. when we was installing them another guy but his from another place almost double the cost, his was EXACTLY like mine even same numbers stamped on them. He was a little upset lol.

I only gave 1 star because I had to; otherwise I&#;d give 0. Ordered a part from them a month and a half ago and apparently it got lost in the early stages of shipping so I contacted someone and apparently they sent a replacement. I say apparently because the tracking was the same. Never was updated. I tried contacting someone for the 2nd time because the part hasn&#;t been received and tracking hasn&#;t been updated but no response. I&#;ve sent multiple emails. I requested for a refund and no response. And when I tried to cancel my order online, it says my email and tracking doesn&#;t exist. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this website at all! Wouldn&#;t trust it one bit. I guess I won&#;t be getting my refund because they just took it and left. No help at all. Never again!

They shipped the wrong part

They shipped the wrong part. Correct part number on the box, but not inside apparently (according to the rep). By the time I had the door tore apart, it was too late though. Had to hunt for the same part at a local parts store. Never again.

Guarantee to fit policy is worthless

The website offers a guarantee to fit. I ordered a shroud for a Jeep Grand Cherokee that the fit was confirmed on by their site. Received the part, and it in fact does not fit. Started the request for a refund, now going on 2 weeks, the first email they sent asked for photos of the labels on the box, as well as the part with the part number showing, sent that email. They said they would send it to the Quality Assurance team. Received an email about 4 days later asking for a photo of the new part beside the old part, sent that as well as a photo of the new shroud on the radiator that it is supposed to fit on. The shroud barely hits the center of the radiator, then lo and behold I receive an email another 4 days later asking for the dimensions of the part they sent me. Their guarantee to fit policy is worthless. You would think that the photos requested would be enough to satisfy them. I will never purchase another item from this company, and would advise anyone else not to either.

I had purchased a power window&#;

I had purchased a power window regulator from 1AAuto back in Recently, it stopped working. I contacted 1AAuto on chat. Within minutes, a replacement was being ordered, just before Labor Day. Just minutes later, after reading my chat transcript regarding that order replacement, I saw that I had given the wrong window regulator information. I had noted in my chat "ps side rear window regulator." The correct replacement should have been "ds window regulator." I tried contacting them back the same day, however, they were closed for the labor day holiday period. The same evening of the order, I had received a notice from UPS, that my order was being shipped (wrong regulator, my fault). On Monday morning. I contacted 1AAuto, again on chat, different person, and shared my mess-up, about ordering the wrong regulator, and now it was being shipped. Within minutes, the representative had ordered the correct one and had it being shipped to me. There was no hassle or condemnation for my mess-up. They simply made it right! These folks are amazing!

Don&#;t trust the fit guide.

I purchased a set of power fold mirrors for my Chevy Silverado HD to replace the OEM mirrors that were damaged. I looked up the part by my specific make/model and also confirmed the fit via a phone call to A1 auto as well. The part they sent looked, operated and fit correctly despite being made of cheaper plastic than OEM but had the addition of a puddle light which the OEM part did not have. It worked perfectly for 2 and a half months then both mirrors began to intermittently stop power folding. I contacted the company who would not allow me to return these malfunctioning mirrors. They stated it was because the puddle light was not in the OEM mirrors so they would not take them back because they were not exactly the same as the OEM mirrors despite confirming they were a correct fit on the web site and over the phone. I&#;m very disappointed with the customer service and that they don&#;t stand behind their products or fit guide. In addition the part was made of much cheaper plastic and wasn&#;t nearly as sturdy as the OEM parts. I won&#;t ever purchase parts from A1 again.

I've been a customer of 1A Auto for a while. I've always received the correct part and no issues with fast shipping.
On my previous car '02 Mazda I replaced lower control arms/ball joints, hubs, tie rods, rotors and drums. No issues with quality.
On my '06 Malibu I purchased rear shocks, rear upper control arms, lateral arms, sway bar links, rear rotors and brakes. So far everything has been received fast. And with k on the vehicle, OEM was way too much. As a former master carpenter and combat engineer and having done auto repair for 35 years I know which part should be OEM and which can be aftermarket. Also depends on vehicle usage. I don't foresee any issues from past experience with 1A parts . I will update this post in 6 months.

1A-Auto. Worthless

Ok. I ordered an item from this place. First time I ordered was perfect. Went back an ordered another part I needed and they sent me tracking number. UPS. Was going to be here Fri 7/23/ To find out. UPS delivered it to my local post office. I assume I paid for UPS delivery. Went to my local Post office. They can&#;t fine it. The person/Company I ordered it from is to blame for this. If I could give them zero stars. I would. Have a mechanic waiting to put part on. My truck is apart and I can not do anything. Worthless. Don&#;t buy from
1A-Auto. Responsibility is theirs. Sad how they don&#;t care. They are the ones responsible for this.

They could make better choices

Placed my order on June 30th.. its July 9th and the order is sitting in limbo at the USPS facility "awaiting acceptance", has been since the 6th. I know some may say "that isn't their fault!" I disagree the choice to use delivery services that use multiple carriers (UPS and USPS in this instance) as well as selecting a delivery service that explicitly states "Mail Innovations is not a day definite service. Please check Shipment Progress for transit details" This means there is no specified time limit at all. It could be weeks or more before it actually arrives. Easily could have placed the parts in this order into a small flat rate box and been here days ago, I would have happily paid the 7 bucks for more reliable delivery options. Not impressed with my first order from 1A.

The tie rod ends are wrong we never open the tie rod ends bag and will not take them back or exchange for correct parts !!! Turn out to be a Japan car but was never ask for vin number when ordering. I already installed other parts then I got to tie rods not expecting the parts to be wrong and they so clam that guaranteed to fit !! Lol I would not recommend them unless u want to buy parts twice !!

hello i purchased a complete front end kit for my chevy silvsrado 4x4 while installing the parts i found that one of the inner tierods was broken so i could not finish . called for a replacement . no pronlems. but i was without my truck for 6 days till part came in . that was 10/20/ on 5/28/21 i purchased new tires .but was told tat both inner tierods where broken and needed to be replaced . called again got replacements at no cost. but how many times am i going to have to replace them .it's getting expensive. i guess thats what you get for buying parts made in tiwan i'm NOT a happy camper !!!!

Took my money, No Parts shipped

Ordered parts, on the 15th, money was immediately charged to my accountthen nothing for 10 days, no shipping notice, nothing. On the 25th I get a message thanking me for canceling my order and told my money would be returned to my account in 5 days. Now I have to start overwill never buy from here again.

Return policy and quality parts!

My son purchased a Ford Thunderbird Alternator for his car. It hasn't even been 2 months since he put it on his vehicle and the alternator has already screwed up. So A1auto tells him that he has to buy another one, because the warranty on electronic parts is no good now because he took it out of the box. Any other auto parts store would have had him return it and give him a refund or another alternator for free. It hasn't been two months since he bought the piece of junk from them so why should he buy another high priced piece of junk from you.

I bought the kit they sell with upper and lower control arms tie rod ends sway bar links etc and not even 6 months later I was noticing some weird tire wear before I was able to bring it in to look at it my lower ball joint broke going around a corner and I almost smoked another car so I got it towed back and had a look at it. Every last part I put on from them was on the verge of falling apart so I called them and they were total dinks and said that it wasn&#;t their parts and they wouldn&#;t warranty anything. I just hope someone doesn&#;t end up like I did I could&#;ve killed someone from the ball joints falling apart

Put a new wheel bearing in a few years back. Looked it up and it had a lifetime warranty. 1A auto sent a new 1 no questions asked,only have to send the old 1 back within 60days. Thats Good Business from the internet! Called 1A Auto at 3pm Monday, new bearing was here in less than 24hours. UPS ground moves fast. Will definitely buy parts from 1A Auto again.
