YES! Pics if you can dig them up

My local dealer said they didn't have a clue if they all came with flaps or not. Then said they couldn't tell if there was anything to cover the opening without flaps. Less than helpful.

Aftermarket bumpers are in MY plan, but I just gotta damage these, errr umm, convince the wife to upgrade IF these get some trail damage on them lol

It's no big deal, just wanted to see what others have done and maybe get some answers.

Thanks

But OP, look around some more if you are looking for a factory fit item. I'll look at mine later to see what it looks like, I did add mud flaps but they just basically clipped on over the factory stuff.

I think they changed the wheel well area on the 's and up. I don't think the parts are interchangable, but I could be wrong.

For + (and maybe other years) the flap is somewhat integrated into the fender liner. If you don't have a flap, you got a different liner that covers the hole. You could try to order the different liners or trade with someone who doesn't have flaps.

I admit I don't know all the details but found this

Is this it? The description is calling it a mud guard but the picture looks like it could be right?

Hi BLACK-FL4RUNNER,

Most people that opt to go 'off-road' usually strive for MOREchassis height, not less. Adding mudgards will "help"to keep the splash-panels clean but that's about it. I'm using factory mudguards on the 'Mall Crawler'to help protect the fenders from sand, pebbles, salt but I still damaged one of my mudguards, just backing up into a small snow bank last winter; 'tis an occupational hazard. Most 4R's don't come with 'Running boards' or 'mudguards'; they're optional! So there should be no problem driving around w/o them. But if you're planning to go off-roading from time to time, then you may need more height to go where you like to go! Remember "an ounce of prevention" Rgds!

I trimmed mine off and kept the part that covers up the big hole. I bet you could buy a universal flat mud flap and trim it to fit.

Mud Flap Delete?-image-jpg

I did it last weekend. And it only cost me my time. Just studied the body lines and mudflap lines and determined the best place to cut. I removed them and put them on my work bench. I used a razor knife and straight edge and made a trace cut and then a final cut. The only watch out is the bottom edge if you want to maintain the same bottom attachment method. It is not a fatal error if you cut too high.

I'd bet it's pretty close if not exactly the same at least shape wise, the reason I say that is when I put on the trail rockers I also did the front trim piece and mud flaps on the front and most of the holes lined up. It is possible Toyota changed the rear wheel well and bumper area

OP here is probably the best place to look if you wanted to try to find that filler piece. Sometimes you can tell if a part is interchangeable once you find the part number

You see, when something breaks or falls off, I would rather fix it stronger or leave it off if practical. Because, that's what I do. I try to make my off road vehicles better for, well, off roading. I always forget that the vast majority of 4x4 owners don't know how to use the 4x4, and are mainly keyboard warriors.

Thanks for your input though, I see what category to put you in.

Have a nice day.
Categorize to your heart's content cowboy!! Although, if you place me into the category of "4x4 owners who don't know how to use the 4x4, and are mainly keyboard warriors" you willbeWRONG!!! That's because I drive a 4x2! (zealots should stop reading right now and immediately block all future posts from this heathen). Granted, the term "silly" may be misunderstood and only relevant to people old enough, or "seasoned" enough, to recall old Monty Python shows with fond thoughts. I used that term because the answer to your inquiry was so painfully obvious, yet it generated responses such as "cut a four ring binder to fit." I guess a silly question demands a silly answer. No harm. If somebody can't stomach their thread being referred to by such a benign reference, perhaps the internet is not the best place to be. to you.

Also, I found the perfect material to make them out of

It's a defective/damaged bumper cover that was to be scrapped.
At the best price point, Free!!!
(I know not everyone has access to this solution)

The sides should be big enough to make a really nice flap delete panel in the future!

Just ordered the Revtek kit from Vividracing for $ + $13 shipping which is reasonable.

| Revtek 4Runner Rear Mud Flap Delete Kit For Toyota 4Runner

I too nearly ordered them off Rogue Offroad until I saw the $33 shipping and promptly exited out of that one.

Hope this helps!

I luckily am local to the Las Vegas area, so i dropped into Rogue and picked these up directly. nice folks and the parts were easy to install and look great.

Also, i talked to them when i picked up the kit and explained the weird pricing on their site. They claimed that its fixed now and was a result of the dimensions of the original packaging that limited their shipping options.

Thanks.

To the program. Sveta herself believed that it was her mouth that was being raped every morning, since dad did not bother to wake up mom or at least wait. Mom usually came to herself immediately and tried to restrain her gag reflexes and take it deeper into her mouth. Dad liked to wind his long hair around his fist and stick it down the throat of his slut wife, while he.
