Sun Pain Management Employee Reviews

Horrible Work Environment/Toxic Culture

Billing Specialist (Former Employee) - Surprise, AZ - October 13, 2020

Pay & benefits
My pay and benefits at Sun Pain Management are not up to industry standards. 1/2 of your “2-weeks” vacation is dictated by the Dr who closes the facility during Christmas. This leaves only one week to use at your discretion, of which, you are told by your supervisor to “save it in case the Dr decides to not pay you when he closes the facility in December.”

Job security and advancement
In terms of job security at Sun Pain Management, There isn’t any job security whatsoever. Your supervisor (& even the Dr) will applaud you to your face for doing a good job, then stab you in the back. Don’t fall for their lies. No matter how much integrity you have, it will always be questioned and won’t matter anyway. The management has the last say and, quite frankly, they don’t care about you in the least bit.

Management
In general, managers at Sun Pain Management are divisive, petty, disingenuous, back-stabbing, unorganized, & unsupportive. They won’t back you up, question your work, & blame you for their faults or in-actions. Decisions are made out of fear and at emergency levels. What may be a highly important task this week may become the least important next week. I’ve never worked for a more dysfunctional or unorganized workplace in my life.

Culture
Collaboration with my colleagues at Sun Pain Management is exasperating at best. There isn’t any TEAMWORK to be found. The culture is more about finding something you did wrong instead of actually doing any real work.

Overall
My experience working at Sun Pain Management was awful. I thought we were valued and respected. -
